HOUSTON, Oct. 8
– Crimson Exploration Inc., Houston, said its Catherine Henderson A-8 well in Liberty County, Tex., is making 6.9 MMcfd of gas, 445 b/d of condensate, and 565 b/d of natural gas liquids from Eocene Upper Cook Mountain at 13,500 ft.

The flow came with 6,910 psi flowing tubing pressure on an 11/64-in. choke. The well cut 110 ft of net pay and is the last planned well in the Liberty County area in 2010, said the company, which holds 66% working interest. The 2011 plan calls for 3-4 more wells.

The company’s Liberty County Cook Mountain drilling program has resulted in four discoveries, including the original Catherine Henderson A-6 well, that produce a combined 20.6 MMcfd of gas, 1,200 b/d of condensate, and 1,730 b/d of NGL.
