HOUSTON, Oct. 21 – Range Resources Corp., Fort Worth, said the first two completions of its 2010 drilling program in the Ardmore basin of south-central Oklahoma yielded good results.
One well averaged 801 b/d of oil and natural gas liquids and 2.3 MMcfd of gas, while a second well averaged 1,064 b/d of oil and NGL and 2.7 MMcfd. The horizontal wells produce from the Woodford shale at 7,000 ft true vertical depth.
The company has one operated and one nonoperated rig in the play.
