HOUSTON, Oct. 11
– Red Fork Energy Ltd., Perth, plans to drill and complete 20 wells in the next 12 months in its shallow Woodford shale biogenic gas program in northeastern Oklahoma.

Management of the company’s acreage position is being achieved through a combination of drilling to hold acreage by production, drilling to hold acreage via a shut-in rental program, and spacing and pooling in accordance with the Oklahoma Corporation Commission rules.

Red Fork Energy, which owns 100% interest in about 110,000 acres stretching from Wagoner to the Kansas line northwest of Afton, didn’t specify where the wells will be drilled.
