    Shell awards Malaysia refinery contract

    Shell Refining Co. FOM Malaysia awarded Fluor Corp. an engineering, procurement, and construction management contract as part of Phase 1 of Shell’s Hijau gas oil project.

    HOUSTON, Sept. 29     -- Shell Refining Co. FOM Malaysia awarded Fluor Corp. an engineering, procurement, and construction management contract as part of Phase 1 of Shell’s Hijau gas oil project.

    The project consists of a 6,000 tonne/day diesel hydrodesulfurization unit in Port Dickson, Malaysia. Fluor’s services will follow its previous front-end engineering and design for the unit.
