HOUSTON, Sept. 28 – Red Fork Energy Ltd., Subiaco, Western Australia, has established oil production from Pennsylvanian Red Fork sand at eight wells at its 100% owned Pawnee prospect west of Tulsa, Okla.
The most recent completion, Moebius 1-28, made an initial 47 b/d of oil and 50 Mcfd of 1,300-btu associated gas at 3,100 ft.
Consulting engineers attribute proved reserves of 890,000 bbl of oil and 2.7 bcf of gas and proved plus probable reserves of 1.39 million bbl and 3.7 bcf to the 15,000-acre property, which has 36 proved, probable, and possible locations remaining.
