North Dakota

By OGJ editors
HOUSTON, Sept. 23
– Fracture stimulation of a Petro-Hunt Corp.-operated Bakken well in North Dakota has been delayed about 3 weeks as the shortage of horizontal frac stimulation equipment and crews persists, said partner Credo Petroleum Corp., Denver.

The Petro-Hunt 147-94-3A-10-1H (3A) well is in Dunn County on the Forth Berthold Reservation. Credo has 18.75% working interest.

Elsewhere on the reservation, Credo owns interests in six Bakken spacing units in which operators including XTO Energy Corp., Petro-Hunt, QEP Resources, and Zenergy are preparing to drill long-lateral horizontal wells. Credo owns interests in 8,000 gross acres on the reservation containing about 50 drilling spacing units.
