Knoll named Corridor Resources president, CEO

Corridor Resources Inc., Halifax, has named Phillip R. Knoll as president and chief executive officer, effective in mid-October.

-- Corridor Resources Inc., Halifax, has named Phillip R. Knoll as president and chief executive officer, effective in mid-October.

Knoll succeeds Norm Miller, who will continue on Corridor’s board after retiring Sept. 30.

Knoll combines an understanding for both the upstream and midstream natural gas industry with an extensive knowledge of the Atlantic Canada business community.

Knoll was chief operating officer and executive vice-president of TransCanada Midstream from 1998 to 1999; president of Westcoast Gas Services Inc. from 1999 to 2000; president (2001-03) of Maritimes & Northeast Pipeline; group vice-president of Duke Energy Gas Transmission from 2003 to 2005; and president of Knoll Energy Inc. from 2005 to present.
