Petromanas Energy appoints chief executive officer

HOUSTON, Aug. 19
-- Petromanas Energy Inc. appointed Glenn A. McNamara as chief executive officer effective in September.

McNamara has over 30 years of oil and gas exploration and production experience in Canada, the US, South America, and the Asia Pacific region.

From August 2005 to August 2010, he served as president of BG Canada and was responsible for all aspects of BG Canada's business, including developing a growth strategy for western and northern Canada as well as Alaska.
