ExxonMobil makes executive changes

HOUSTON, July 29
-- ExxonMobil Corp. appointed Steve Greenlee as president of ExxonMobil Exploration Co. (EEC) and elected him a vice-president of the parent company effective Sept. 1. Greenlee is currently president, ExxonMobil Upstream Research Co. (EURC).

EURC elected Sara Ortwein as president effective Sept. 1. Ortwein is currently vice-president engineering, ExxonMobil Development Co. (EDC).

Tim Cejka, president, EEC, and vice-president, ExxonMobil Corp., has elected to retire on Aug. 31, after more than 34 years of service.

Greenlee joined Exxon Production Research Co. in 1981. Greenlee became upstream advisor at ExxonMobil’s Irving, Tex., headquarters in 2002 and was appointed vice-president for geoscience for Asia-Pacific of EEC in 2004. He was elected president of EURC in June 2009.

Ortwein joined Exxon Corp. as a drilling engineer in 1980. Ortwein became an upstream advisor at corporate headquarters in 2001, and in 2003 became deputy production manager and later production manager for US production for ExxonMobil Production Co. She was appointed vice-president of engineering for EDC in 2006.
