EPA rejects petitions challenging GHG endangerment finding

The US Environmental Protection Agency rejected 10 petitions challenging climate science behind its Dec. 7, 2009, finding that greenhouse gases threaten public health and the environment, and therefore can be regulated under the federal Clean Air Act.
