HOUSTON, Mar. 1
– Consulting engineers assessed BNK Petroleum Inc.’s proved reserves in the Woodford shale in Tishomingo field in the Oklahoma Ardmore basin at 3.7 million bbl of oil, 57.5 bcf of gas, and 11.5 million bbl of natural gas liquids.

Proved and probable reserves are 5.9 million bbl of oil, 87.3 bcf of gas, and 17.5 million bbl of NGL. The company holds interests in 39 wells in southwestern Johnston and eastern Carter counties, of which BNK operated 24, as of late 2009.

The wells are on 640-acre spacing, and the state has approved downspacing to 80 acres. BNK said fracs remain to be conducted on 60% of the company’s net treatable stages in the Woodford shale wells drilled to date.
