HOUSTON, Mar. 2 -- Dallas-based refiner and marketer Alon USA Energy Inc. has appointed Paul Eisman as president.

Eisman has more than 30 years of refining experience. He joins Alon USA from Frontier Oil Corp., where he served as executive vice-president, refining and marketing operations.

Prior to joining Frontier, Eisman held various positions at leading refiners, including senior vice-president of economics and planning at Valero Energy Corp. and executive vice-president of corporate development at Ultramar Diamond Shamrock Corp.
