HOUSTON, Feb. 2 – Anadarko Petroleum Corp. set a daily sales record of 357 MMcfd at Greater Natural Buttes field in Utah’s Uinta basin during the fourth quarter and increased year-to-year sales volume 17% in 2009.
The company drilled 153 wells at Natural Buttes in 2009. It ended the fourth quarter with five rigs and drilled 47 wells in the quarter, reducing spud-to-spud cycle time 30% on the year.
