By OGJ editors
HOUSTON, Jan. 12
-- Final regulatory approvals have been issued for the 171,000-acre St. Johns Gas Unit in Apache County, Ariz., for the production of carbon dioxide and helium.

Ridgeway Arizona Oil Corp., an affiliate of Enhanced Oil Resources Inc., Houston, is designated operator with 100% working interest. Participation in the unit is voluntary.

The Arizona Land Department on Jan. 6 granted a 1-year extension to complete the required minimum work program. The unit agreement calls for the orderly development of the unit area in 5 years from the effective date of Feb. 1 and includes a minimum work program of five wells in the first 12 months.
