  • 10/13/2010 -- GDF Suez makes deal to sell LNG to CNOOC subsidiary
    GDF Suez SA signed a medium-term agreement with CNOOC Gas & Power Group Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of China National Offshore Oil Corp., to sell 2.6 million tonnes of LNG, or a total of 44 cargoes, over a 4-year period starting in 2013.
  • 10/12/2010 -- Chevron sells stake in Colonial pipeline
    Chevron Pipe Line Co. sold its 23.44% ownership interest in the Colonial Pipeline Co. to an affiliate of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. LP.
  • 10/12/2010 -- Joint venture lets contract for West Java FSRU
    Nusantara Regas, a joint venture of Pertamina and PGN, has selected Golar LNG Energy Ltd. for its West Java floating storage regasification unit.
  • 10/07/2010 -- Teekay, Exmar sign LNG carrier deal
    Exmar NV and Teekay LNG Partners LP have reached an agreement under which Teekay will purchase a 50% interest in two of Exmar’s LNG carriers—Excelsior and Excalibur.
  • 10/01/2010 -- Total lets Laggan-Tormore pipeline contract
    Total E&P UK Ltd. let a contract valued at more than $250 million to Subsea 7 Inc. for work on pipelines and umbilicals in its development of Laggan and Tormore deepwater gas fields west of the Shetland Islands in the UK North Sea.

    ExxonMobil Corp.’s Golden Pass LNG terminal, on the Sabine Pass waterway in Jefferson County near Port Arthur, Tex., will receive its first commissioning cargo during October, the company announced.

    A government team from Barbados and representatives of various agencies and companies in Trinidad and Tobago are to begin negotiations in the fourth quarter for the export of natural gas to be to Barbados from the twin-island nation.

    GDF Suez recently signed agreements to sell LNG to OAO Gazprom and Korea Gas Corp. (Kogas) over a 2½-year period.
  • 09/24/2010 -- Russia, China to keep to agreement over ESPO oil price
    Russia's Deputy Prime Minister Igor Sechin, shrugging off earlier reports, said Chinese officials have not sought to revise an earlier agreement over the cost of oil delivered to China via a recently launched 67-km spur from the Eastern Siberia-Pacific Ocean (ESPO) pipeline.
