    The US Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration plans to issue an advisory bulleting reminding crude oil, natural gas, and hazardous liquids pipelines to share their emergency response plans with local emergency response officials as required under federal law.

    The US Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration proposed a $423,600 fine for Chevron Pipe Line Co. (CPLC) because of a June leak in its crude oil pipeline near the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.

    Indonesia’s state-owned Perusahaan Gas Negara has awarded a project management contract for a floating LNG terminal to Foster Wheeler AG’s global engineering and construction group.

    The BG Group has announced it has made a final investment decision to go ahead with its planned $15 billion coal seam gas-to-LNG plant on Curtis Island near Gladstone in Queensland.
  • 10/26/2010 -- Cooper basin gas to supply Santos' Gladstone LNG project
    Santos Ltd., Adelaide, signed a deal with the south Australian Cooper basin joint venture to supply 750 petajoules of gas from the Cooper basin fields to the proposed Santos-operated LNG project in Gladstone, Queensland.
