    MarkWest Liberty Midstream & Resources LLC—a partnership of MarkWest Energy Partners LP and Energy & Minerals Group—and Sunoco Logistics Partners LP announced June 1 a combined pipeline and marine project to move ethane produced in the Marcellus shale to the US Gulf Coast.

    The sponsor of the proposed Keystone crude oil pipeline from Canada emphasized its safety and reliability prior to the US Department of State’s final public hearing on the project before the comment period ends on July 2.
  • 06/16/2010 -- Boardwalk, Southcross boost Eagle Ford pipeline systems
    Boardwalk Pipeline Partners LP and Southcross Energy LLC, with its affiliates, announced June 15 plans to modify existing pipeline systems to transport natural gas from the Eagle Ford shale production area in South Texas.
  • 06/15/2010 -- CenterPoint starts Carthage-to-Perryville open season
    CenterPoint Energy Gas Transmission Co. (CEGT), an indirect, wholly owned interstate natural gas pipeline subsidiary of CenterPoint Energy Inc., started a nonbinding, 3-week open season June 14 to gauge market interest in an additional expansion of its nearly 1.9 bcfd, 42-in. OD Carthage-to-Perryville (Line CP) pipeline.

    Enterprise Products Partners LP reported an expansion of its network of oil and natural gas assets in South Texas as part of a letter of intent with a major Eagle Ford shale producer.
  • 04/21/2010 -- Kinder Morgan announces westbound Marcellus NGL pipeline
    Kinder Morgan Energy Partners LP announced Apr. 20 plans to modify and expand the existing Cochin Pipeline system to facilitate transportation of natural gas liquids from the Marcellus shale basin to fractionation plants and chemical markets near Sarnia, Ont., and Chicago.

    Tenaska Capital Management LLC announced Apr. 28 the start of construction of its TPF II East Texas Gathering LLC natural gas gathering system serving the Haynesville shale formation in East Texas.
  • 03/05/2010 -- Williams solicits Marcellus shippers for Transco expansion
    A unit of Williams Partners LP has initiated a binding open season Mar. 4-26 for expansion of its Transco natural gas pipeline, providing incremental firm gas transportation capacity from the Marcellus shale to markets in New York and New Jersey.

    Alliance Pipeline announced its system is moving natural gas and natural gas liquids from the Bakken shale in the Williston basin via a new interconnect near Bantry, ND.
  • 12/30/2010 -- Tokyo Gas, Hokkaido Gas sign LNG supply deal
    Tokyo Gas Co. signed a heads of agreement for the sale and supply of LNG to Hokkaido Gas Co.
