  • 10/22/2010 -- NEB takes first steps on Vantage ethane line
    Canada’s National Energy Board is making funding available to third parties interested in participating in the regulatory process for Vantage Pipeline Canada Inc.’s proposed Vantage Pipeline.
  • 10/05/2010 -- TransCanada launches open season for Marketlink project
    TransCanada Corp. launched a binding open season to obtain firm commitments from interested parties for the Bakken Marketlink project, which would provide crude oil transportation service from Baker, Mont., to Cushing, Okla., and onward to the US Gulf Coast.
  • 09/21/2010 -- Marcellus gathering set in Wyoming County, Pa.
    Citrus Energy Corp. let a contract to UGI Energy Services Inc. to gather Marcellus shale gas produced by Citrus in Wyoming County, Pa., for delivery to Tennessee Gas Pipeline Co.’s interstate pipeline in Susquehanna County, Pa.
  • 09/10/2010 -- Enbridge signs agreement with Husky for Sunrise facilities
    Enbridge Inc. has entered into an agreement to provide pipeline and terminaling services to the proposed Husky Energy-operated Sunrise Oil Sands Project.
  • 09/09/2010 -- W. Australia to secure land for LNG hub
    The government of Western Australia began the compulsory acquisition process to secure land at James Price Point about 60 km north of Broome as the site for the region’s proposed LNG hub.
  • 08/27/2010 -- Enbridge, Suncor partner on Wood Buffalo oil sands line
    Enbridge Inc. announced Aug. 26 it entered into an agreement with Suncor Energy Inc. to build a 95-km, 30-in. OD crude oil pipeline, the Wood Buffalo Pipeline, connecting the Enbridge Athabasca Terminal, adjacent to Suncor's oil sands plant, to the Cheecham Terminal, which is the origin point of Enbridge's Waupisoo Pipeline.
  • 08/11/2010 -- El Paso launches open season for MEPS project
    El Paso Midstream Group Inc., a subsidiary of El Paso Corp., on Aug. 9 began a 30-day, nonbinding open season to solicit interest for its proposed Marcellus Ethane Pipeline System (MEPS).
  • 08/06/2010 -- Denbury presses Gulf Coast EOR projects
    Denbury Resources Inc., Plano, Tex., started carbon dioxide injection June 29 in Oyster Bayou field in eastern Chambers County, Tex., and hopes to begin injecting at Hastings field south of Houston around the end of 2010.
  • 07/01/2010 -- Enterprise to expand Eagle Ford pipeline system
    Enterprise Products Partners LP announced June 29 an additional expansion of its natural gas and natural gas liquids pipeline system in South Texas and Mont Belvieu, Tex. serving the Eagle Ford shale play.
  • 07/27/2010 -- Crosstex to expand Barnett gas pipeline capacity
    Crosstex Energy LP and Crosstex Energy Inc. announced plans to expand the natural gas gathering system serving the Barnett shale play in North Texas by building a $25 million, 15-mile pipeline.
