HOUSTON, Dec. 22 – Reliance Industries Ltd. reported an indicated gas discovery on the KG-V-D3 block in the Bay of Bengal off eastern India (OGJ Online, Nov. 3, 2009).

Its KGV-D3-R1 well, drilled to 4,113 m MD in 1,982 m of water, logged three potential Miocene reservoirs with gross thicknesses of 4, 23, and 16 m.

RIL said assessment of the well continues.
