HOUSTON, Nov. 11 -- Norwood Resources Ltd., Vancouver, BC, drilled a sidetrack hole at the planned total depth of 7,000 ft at the San Bartolo-1X exploration well in western Nicaragua’s Sandino basin.

The company plans to log the well and run tests at the indicated oil discovery, where it had earlier prioritized six zones for tests at the initial vertical well bore (OGJ, Feb. 2, 2009, p. 42).
