HOUSTON, Oct. 12 -- Colombia’s Ecopetrol SA has appointed Hector Manosalva Rojas as vice-president, production, and Alvaro Castaneda Caro as vice-president, transportation.
Rojas joined Ecopetrol in 1986 and has held a number of positions over the course of his career, including head of the division of planning, production manager in Putumayo, and director of corporate social responsibility. He most recently served as production manager of the central region for the office of the vice-president of production.
Caro has been working with the office of the vice-president of transportation for the past 20 years. Caro has held a number of positions over the course of his career at Ecopetrol, including plant coordinator, head of the operations department, and chief of the centralized operations department. He most recently served as manager of the multiple purpose pipelines.
