Cunningham named Cheyenne Resources president

HOUSTON, Sept. 2
-- Thomas J. Cunningham has been named president of Cheyenne Resources Corp., Bakersfield, Calif.

Cunningham was chief financial officer and chief administrative officer of Tri-Valley Corp., Bakersfield. Previous employment was with Star Resources, Forest Oil Corp., Tesoro Petroleum Corp., and Tucker Drilling.

Cheyenne Resources is in various negotiating stages to acquire oil and gas properties in Scott County, Tenn., West and Central Texas, Ventura County, Calif., and the Williston basin.
