Murphy Oil makes management changes

-- Murphy Oil Corp. made several management changes.

Roger W. Jenkins, currently president of the company’s exploration and production subsidiary, was elected to the additional position of executive vice-president.

Jenkins joined Murphy in 2001 and has held several positions in Malaysia where he oversaw the development of the Kikeh field. In September 2007, he was named senior vice-president, North America, with responsibility for all North American E&P operations.

Tom McKinlay, currently head of supply and transportation for the US downstream subsidiary, was elected vice-president with responsibility for all domestic manufacturing operations.

McKinlay joined Murphy in 1991, holding several positions in the UK until taking a hiatus from the company in 2001. In 2005, McKinlay rejoined Murphy in the UK and was named general manager, supply and transportation, and transferred to Murphy Oil USA Inc. in August 2008.

Henry J. Heithaus, currently head of the retail marketing division, was elected vice-president with responsibility for all US marketing, supply, and transportation operations. He joined Murphy in 1996, holding several positions in retail marketing before being named senior vice-president of Murphy USA marketing company in 2003.

Charles Ganus, currently head of the company’s UK office, has been elected to the additional position of vice-president with responsibility for all international downstream operations.

Ganus joined Murphy in March 1984. Along with his experience in the company’s law department, he has held numerous positions in Murphy’s supply and marketing groups, including president, Murphy USA Marketing Co., a division of Murphy Oil USA.
