HOUSTON, Aug. 13
– Short deliverability tests at Italy’s Sillaro gas field confirmed production capacity in one zone and gauged gas from a previously untested zone, said Po Valley Energy Ltd., Perth. Two more zones are to be tested.

The company tested Sillaro-2 east of Bologna in the Po basin and confirmed the results in the levels previously flow-tested in the Sillaro-1 well 500 m away. PL2A perforations at 2,304-09 m MD tested at a maximum 4.33 MMcfd on a ¼-in. choke.

PL2C0 perforations at 2,246-61 m MD tested at a maximum 1.79 MMcfd on a 3/16-in. choke.

Two other levels in Sillaro-2, the previously tested PL2C2 and a new shallow level at 2,000 m, are to be tested this week.
