    The governments of Italy, Russia, and Turkey—aiming to reduce oil shipping away from crowded Turkish straits—agreed to build a 550-km oil pipeline from Turkey’s Black Sea port of Samsun to its Mediterranean port of Ceyhan.

    Chevron Corp. and Kellogg Joint Venture Group (KJVG) let an $809 million (Aus.) contract to Boskalis Australia Pty. Ltd., a subsidiary of Royal Boskalis Westminster NV of Papendrecht, the Netherlands, for the design and construction of a port at Barrow Island as part of the Gorgon-Jansz-Io LNG project.
