    Iraq’s South Oil Co. let a project management contract to AOC Holdings subsidiary Japan Oil Engineering for the front-end engineering and design to restore and upgrade Iraq's Fao export oil terminal.
  • 08/05/2009 -- Ruscorp to monitor Nigeria’s oil pipelines
    Russia’s Ruscorp, a maintenance and security company, agreed to help improve Nigeria’s oil pipelines and construct new distribution lines under a memorandum of understanding signed with the nation’s government.
  • 08/05/2009 -- Gassco to improve blow-down system at LNG terminals
    Gassco AS contracted Foster Wheeler Energy Ltd. to modify its blow-down system at its 6.6 million tonnes/year LNG terminal at Zeebrugge, Belgium, and proposed one in Dunkerque, France. The contract value was not disclosed.

    Perth company Liquefied Natural Gas Ltd. (LNGL) received approval from Queensland authorities for its proposal to use a membrane storage tank for LNG produced from its coal seam gas-LNG project in Gladstone, Queensland.

    Ecuador's ministry of oil and mines, under orders from President Rafael Correa, established an internal committee to revise OCP Ecuador’s contract to operate the 500-km Oleducto de Crudos Pesados (OCP) oil pipeline.
