Tesoro names Mandan refinery manager

Houston, Apr. 3 -- Tesoro Corp., San Antonio, has promoted John Berger to manager of the company's 60,000 b/d Mandan, ND, refinery.

Berger succeeds Al Anderson, who has served as that refinery's manager for 6 years. Anderson, meanwhile, was named manager of Tesoro's Kapolei, Ha., refinery.

Berger has more than 20 years of refining industry experience and was operations manager at the Mandan refinery prior to accepting his new position. He also has held roles as Mandan business manager and Northern Great Plains commercial marketing manager.
