Shell Francaise completes sale of refineries

Shell Francaise SA has completed the sales of three refineries.

PARIS, Apr. 3 -- Shell Francaise SA has completed the sales of three refineries. The Netherlands-based LyondellBasell purchased Shell's Berre refinery in SE France for €700 million, and the Swiss group Petroplus has acquired both the Petit Couronne refinery in Normandy and the Reischstett Vedenheim refinery near the German border for a total of $785 million.

Shell Francaise, which has been in France's refining business for 79 years, has retained its complete retail outlet network.
