    Enhanced Oil Resources Inc., Houston, said the 10-2-30 well in St. Johns helium-carbon dioxide field in Apache County stabilized at 3.1 MMcfd of CO2, with 390 psi flowing tubing pressure, the highest flow rate achieved in the field to date.

    Gastem Inc., Montreal, took a farmout from Utica Energy LLC, private New York operator, to drill one horizontal and five vertical wells in New York state by Jan. 16, 2009.

    Brooks Range Petroleum, which in January reentered the North Shore No. 1 well north of Prudhoe Bay oil field, said the well flowed 2,092 b/d of 34° oil.
