HOUSTON, Dec. 14 -- Oracle Energy Corp., Vancouver, BC, said it plans to pursue oil and gas exploration opportunities in unspecified parts of Honduras.
The company established a subsidiary, Oracle Energy Honduras SA, and set up an office in Tegucigalpa.
Oracle said it has carried out extensive geologic and remote sensing studies in the past 14 months that indicate the existence of "significant oil and gas potential at reasonable depths."
Honduras has no oil or gas production.
