HOUSTON, Nov. 20 -- Canadian Imperial Venture Corp., St. John's, Newf., has named Warren Smart exploration manager.
Smart's 24 years of experience includes 16 years with PetroCanada and 8 years with Calgary junior and midsized oil and gas companies.
CIVC's operations are in western Newfoundland and Alberta.
