Eastman Chemical taps Fluor for gasification plant FEED

Eastman Chemical Co. has awarded a $12 million contract to Fluor Corp., Irving, Tex., to provide front-end engineering and design (FEED) work for its $1.6 billion gasification plant to be built in Beaumont on the Texas Gulf Coast.
