HOUSTON, Apr. 17 -- DNO ASA has hired Ivar Brandvold as chief operating officer, a new position. He will become a member of the company's corporate management team.
Brandvold will oversee DNO's upstream activities, including the planning and execution of exploration and development drilling across the company's operations in Norway, the Middle East, and Africa.
Previously, Brandvold worked for Norsk Hydro ASA, holding several senior positions in exploration, drilling, technology development, and production in both Norway and internationally. He most recently served as Hydro's head of drilling.
