HOUSTON, Jan. 4 -- PSI Midstream Partners LP, Houston, has signed pipeline connection and surface lease agreements for the construction of a gas processing plant to provide NGL extraction and gas conditioning on Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Corp.'s Central Louisiana Lateral pipeline system near Kaplan, La.

Site construction on the proposed 125 MMcfd cryogenic expander plant is expected to begin during the first quarter.

PSI is a newly formed midstream asset company with a focus on acquiring and constructing gathering, processing, and conditioning assets to support oil and gas production in Texas, Louisiana, and Gulf of Mexico areas.
