HOUSTON, Dec. 13 -- PTT Public Co. Ltd. has let a front-end engineering design and project management consultancy contract to Foster Wheeler International Corp. for its sixth gas-separation plant, GSP6, planned at Rayong, Thailand.
Foster Wheeler's obligation also includes preparation of the invitation to bid package for the engineering, procurement, and construction contract, and the prequalification, evaluation, selection, and supervision of the EPC contractor. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
GSP6 will have a capacity of 800 MMscfd of gas. Products from the plant will be supplied to petrochemical plants as well as used to supplement the local market.
Residue gas will be sent to the gas-distribution network.
