HOUSTON, July 19 -- Imperial Energy Corp. PLC, London, and Russia's Gazprom Neft (formerly Sibneft) have signed a memorandum of cooperation to work together on exploration, oil production, and oil transportation projects.
Imperial and Gazprom Neft both have operations in the Tomsk region of Western Siberia.
Gazprom Neft is a wholly owned subsidiary of gas giant OAO Gazprom.
