India's Reliance awards coker heater contract

Reliance Petroleum Ltd., through its design, engineering, procurement, and construction advisory services contractor Bechtel France, let a contract to Foster Wheeler USA Corp. for the thermal design, engineering, and procurement of four delayed coker heaters.

HOUSTON, June 27 -- Reliance Petroleum Ltd., through its design, engineering, procurement, and construction advisory services contractor Bechtel France, let a contract to Foster Wheeler USA Corp. for the thermal design, engineering, and procurement of four delayed coker heaters. The coker heaters are to be installed at the Jamnagar export refinery project at Reliance Petroleum's Jamnagar refinery in Gujarat state, India.

The coker heater award is in addition to a separate contract for engineering and design of a new eight-drum delayed coking unit at the refinery.
