HOUSTON, Mar. 7 -- David E. Roberts Jr. has joined Marathon Oil Corp. as senior vice-president of business development.
Roberts served as executive vice-president and managing director for BG Group, where he managed the firm's operations and business interests in the Middle East, India, Pacific Rim, and Kazakhstan, including the $4 billion Karachaganak development.
Prior to joining BG, Roberts served as advisor to the vice-chairman of Chevron Corp. during 2001-03.
