Quest to drill Boyne Creek Gas Prospect

By OGJ editors

HOUSTON, Dec. 29 -- Quest Oil Corp., Arlington, Tex., plans to start drilling in its recently acquired Boyne Lake prospect northeast of Edmonton within 60 days after completing required leasing, surveying, licensing, and site preparation.

Five drill sites are possible at the Boyne prospect with expected gas production of 1.5 MMcfd/well from an estimated reserve of 14 bcf.

The property has year-round access and its shallow 450-525 m depth makes this a highly desirable development opportunity.

Quest's Boyne Lake prospect is located on the northern edge of the highly prolific gas prone Cretaceous Upper Mannville and Colony continental sequence and channel sand system fairways.

Quest entered a farmout agreement with Premium Petroleum Inc., which mandates Quest to drill, complete, and tie in one well at Boyne Creek to earn its 80% working interest in the Boyne Lake prospect.
