HOUSTON, Aug. 27 -- Vancouver-based Heartland Oil & Gas Corp. announced the appointment of Philip S. Winner as chief operating officer.
Winner was vice-president of HS Resources Inc. up to its sale for $1.6 billion to Kerr-Mcgee Corp. in 2001. Prior to his tenure at HS he provided reserve management programs for Apache Corp. at its Bighorn Basin properties and was a senior geologist and budget coordinator for Mobil Oil.
