Forest Oil appoints vice-president, operations support

HOUSTON, July 14 -- Denver-based Forest Oil Corp.announced the appointment of Timothy F.Savoy as vice-president, operations support.

Savoy served as health, safety and environment director since joining Forest in February 2002.

Prior to joining Forest, Savoy held positions in oil and gas production operations, drilling engineering and environmental engineering as well as management positions in environment, health and safety, purchasing, oil and gas marketing and administration with Amoco and Apache Corp.
