Kutei basin appraisal well finds large gas-condensate reserve, oil zone

An appraisal well at Gehem deepwater field in the Kutei basin off East Kalimantan, Indonesia, encountered a single zone with the potential to contain as much as 1.5 tcf of recoverable gas, said operator Unocal Corp.
