Woodside Energy awards FMC Enfield project subsea systems contract

HOUSTON, Dec. 22-- Woodside Energy Ltd. has selected preferred supplier FMC Technologies, Inc., Houston, to supply subsea systems and related services for its Enfield development project, off Western Australia. Enfield is 25 miles northwest of North West Cape in water 1,310-1,805 ft deep.

FMC Technologies will provide 13 subsea trees, production controls, and associated systems and will furnish technical services related to installation and startup. The contract value is about $65 million.

Under a "preferred supplier" agreement with Woodside Energy, FMC Technologies has established an office in Perth and will seek to use local fabricators for work on subsea structures.
