    With US drilling activity still on the rise, independent producers have enough good prospects to grow natural gas production over the next 3 years, if wellhead prices remain above $4/Mcf, said James Stone, an oilfield services analyst at UBS Warburg LLC, New York, in a Friday conference call.
  • 05/19/2003 -- Statoil installs Kvitebjørn topsides
    Statoil installed the 11,000 tonne Kvitebjørn platform topsides on the field in the North Sea Friday, following a weather delay in April. The topsides are on a 220-m tall, two-section steel jacket, installed by the Saipem 7000 crane ship.

  • 06/06/2003 -- Peru sets Camisea transportation rates; development drilling continues
    Peruvian energy regulator Osinerg has set the maximum tariff rates for the transportation of natural gas through the main pipeline by Transporte Gas Natural from the Camisea natural gas fields on the eastern slopes of the Andes to the Lima-Callao city gate.
