HOUSTON, Sept. 10 -- A joint venture of Enterprise Products Partners LP and Marathon Oil Co. let a lump-sum, turnkey contract to Technip-Coflexip for the engineering, procurement, construction, and start up of a 350 MMscfd cryogenic gas processing train at the Neptune gas processing plant near Morgan City, La.

The plant—owned by Enterprise 66% and Marathon 34%—currently has a capacity of 300 MMscfd. It provides midstream services to natural gas producers operating on the Continental Shelf and in the Gulf of Mexico deepwater.

The expansion is slated for completion in September 2003.
