HOUSTON, Dec. 14 -- Corridor Resources Inc., Halifax, and Globex Resources Ltd., Calgary, have spudded a wildcat near Sussex, NB, 22 km southwest of McCully gas field.

Globex will fund the Case Settlement prospect well as part of a $2 million (Can.) farm-in commitment to earn a 50% interest in three of Corridor's exploration licenses.

Case Settlement should reach 2,300 m TD by late January. It will test the subsalt Albert, on trend with the McCully discovery.

The three licenses Globex is farming into cover 106,700 acres north and west of Sussex.

Globex produces 850 boe/d of oil and gas in western Canada. Corridor has interests onshore in New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Quebec and offshore in the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
