Åsgard back on stream after gas leak

Statoil's Åsgard B platform in the Norwegian Sea was brought back onstream Dec. 9 after improvements to the processing facilities, the Norwegian oil and gas giant reported today. A planned turnaround on the giant platform had been brought forward by one day, said Statoil, after gas leaks were discovered on Nov. 28.
